Jaguar Stevens formed when two high school English teachers began to purge their workday anxieties through rock n’ roll. Steve Bartholomew delivers tempestuous rock riffs on the guitar while Caleb Wohlust transports the audience with contemplative lyrics and a truly unhinged vocal performance. The spaces between the primitive, pounding drumbeat of David Glantz are filled by Charlie Frost’s masterfully melodious synth textures. Although fans have compared their sound to the Talking Heads, Nick Cave, and the Cramps, Jaguar Stevens finds inspiration everywhere. Above all, they strive for originality. Their self-titled debut album captures their earnest attempt to transcend time by offering songs of passion, betrayal, and yearning. Kyote Radio is a New Mexico based garage rock band with roots in the West Texas ghost town of Terlingua, a remote desert outpost where frontman Micah Paredes was born and raised before landing in Austin in 2007. Paredes leads Kyote Radio on electric guitar and vocals, delivering sharp songwriting backed by a band that provides a full dose of heavy riffs, anchored by a thundering rhythm section featuring collaborators Nick Smith, Wesley Riddle, Russ Connell, Nick Blossom and Ray Heilman.

Sweet Nothin' is Albuquerque based high energy garage rock band - loud and raw. 

HR is best known as the legendary frontman of the groundbreaking fusion band Bad Brains. Alongside his brother Earl Hudson, guitarist Gary “Dr. Know” Miller, and bassist Darryl Jenifer, HR helped form the band in Washington, D.C. in 1979. Originally performing together as the jazz fusion group Mind Power, the band soon evolved into Bad Brains, combining blistering punk rock with reggae, funk, and spiritual consciousness. With unprecedented speed, precision, and musical ability, Bad Brains took the Washington, D.C. music scene by storm and quickly became one of the most influential bands in American punk history. Their fearless energy and genre-defying sound helped shape the direction of hardcore punk while breaking racial barriers in a predominantly white scene. Beyond the music, HR and Bad Brains introduced the philosophy of Positive Mental Attitude (PMA) — a message of spiritual awareness, unity, and self-empowerment that continues to inspire generations of fans around the world. Founded in 2022, Los Domingueros fuse ska, punk, cumbia, salsa, and reggae into a energetic, danceable sound. The lineup reflects the band’s cross-cultural roots, with members hailing from Mexico, El Salvador, and the United States. Lyrically, their songs explore struggle and redemption, delivering a message that resonates while inviting audiences to move. This compelling blend has earned them international gigs and slots with legendary acts, building an impressive résumé and broad fanbase.

Iriebellion is a 6-piece roots reggae influenced band from Taos, New Mexico whose original music features 3-part harmonies, catchy hooks,  and high energy bass lines topped off with brilliant guitar solos creating a powerful foundation for gritty lyrics with super conscious hip-hop on top. Their songs bring postive messages about life, love and community. Their music will create an unforgettable experience, that will leave you singing in the sunrise!

Shinyribs defies genres as a sonic melting pot of Texas Blues, New Orleans R&B funk, horn- driven Memphis Soul, country twang, border music, big band swing, and roots-rock. The Austin-based nine-piece (sometimes 10-piece) supergroup is led by Kevin Russell, the charismatic frontman with colorful suits and extravagant shoes who continuously swaps out an electric guitar for a ukulele and never falls short of creating a cinematic experience with on- stage antics that often include him donning a light-up cloak or leading a conga line through the crowd.

The Sweet Lillies are a heartfelt, collaborative Americana Roots Pop Fusion quartet built around original songwriting and fearless genre-blending, featuring Julie Gussaroff, Becca Bisque, JJ Murphy, and Jones Maynard. Siren & Seer is the new vision of producer/multi-instrumentalist saQi and vocalist/songwriter Diamonde. Hailing from the hills of Northern California, the duo gives a fresh take on live electronic music by merging traditional idioms of Americana, folk, gypsy and blues with cutting edge dance music genres.

S&S tastefully reimagine sounds of the past for a modern context and create a multi-dimensional world where refinement of a Victorian era can co-exist with roots of Appalachia and rawness of the urban underground. A major goal of the project is to bring a realness and vulnerability to the dance floor while still bringing sound that is hot and heavy. Dirtwire stands poised between ancient Mother Earth and modern technology, a blend of ethnomusicology and the psychedelic trance state, gut-bucket delta blues and what the band variously dubs “back-porch space cowboy blues, swamptronica, and electro-twang.” It’s a sound informed by Dirtwire’s travels and performances around the globe, where East meets West and North joins South. From the favelas in Brazil, Femi Kuti’s Shrine in Lagos, Tokyo’s bluegrass clubs, Ayahuasca ceremonies in Central America, Gamelan performances in Bali, desert festivals in the Australian Outback, and the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s modernized new capital Astana, the band spreads its message by building bridges across musical cultures in their own unique way.

Dirtwire plays an array of instruments both ancient and modern, including West African kamale ngonis, jaw harps, space fiddles, whamola basses, Rickenbacher electric 12 string guitars, bowed Banjos and mouth harps from around the globe, all interwoven into modern laptop beat creation. Hailing from the underground west coast electronic bass music scene Dirtwire finds itself at the forefront of experimental electronic music production mixing in their wide array of world instruments with sampled beats and 808’s. Dirtwire’s live shows are a communal psychedelic journey, ranging from down home boot stomping get downs, to bass and blues electronic mashups, to ethereal cinematic beat driven soundscapes. Woven into each is the exploration of where live instruments meet computer production, and where tradition meets experimentation.

For Los Lonely Boys—brothers Henry, Jojo, and Ringo Garza—family has always been at the core of their music and lives. After years of constant touring, the trio took a much-needed break in 2019 to focus on their growing families. But in Summer 2022, they returned to the road reinvigorated, even opening for The Who, and reigniting the passion that’s kept them together for over 17 years.
Hailing from San Angelo, Texas, the Garza brothers coined their own sound—bluesy “Texican rock & roll”—and turned it into a global sensation. Their breakout came when Willie Nelson’s nephew discovered their demo. Willie soon championed the group, booking them for Farm Aid and recording with them at his studio. Their debut album, Los Lonely Boys, released in 2003 and re-released by Epic, was a smash success, thanks to the No. 1 hit “Heaven.” The song earned them a Grammy and helped the album spend over 76 weeks on the Billboard Top 200, selling over 2 million copies.

But their journey hasn’t been without hardship. In 2013, a serious stage accident left Henry injured, forcing the band to cancel dozens of shows and re-evaluate their priorities. That scare became a turning point, reinforcing their devotion to one another and to what truly matters—family and music.
Now firmly back in stride, Los Lonely Boys continue to write, record, and perform with renewed passion. Man Boy Brown is the alter ego of Raul Pacheco, the vocalist/guitarist/songwriter and co-founding member of the three-time Grammy-winning L.A. musical mainstay Ozomatli. His first-ever solo album offers a playful take on the eternal adolescence he’s enjoyed since forming the groundbreaking, multicultural group 30 years ago. 

Levi Platero’s blues-infused songwriting blends his Navajo and Gospel roots with modern Texas blues and vintage rock, and his solo work followed a stint with The Plateros, a 2004 Navajo Nation blues rock trio praised alongside Vaughan, Los Lonely Boys, and ZZ Top. His self-titled EP, featuring “Take Me Back,” won the 2016 Native American Music Award for Best Blues, and his captivating live shows fuse guitar acrobatics with soulful expression.

You can’t know Beats Antique until you’ve been a part of its journey, and experienced the act as an entity with a life of its own. A stage show that demands more music; music that needs costumes, ships and masks and shadow dances; an audience that comes for art, and takes away stories to feed their imagination.

When Beats Antique first drew breath, there was no pressure to become anything. The first album was just Zoe, David, and Tommy’s one-off experimental project for entertainment executive Miles Copeland, when Zoe performed with his Bellydance Superstars. From that creative freedom, a family formed, and in a good family each member wears many hats. Tommy steering percussion, piano, and music production. Zoe producing music, choosing themes and commanding a circus of travelling set designs, creating costuming, and, of course, dancing like nothing you’ve ever seen. David as the multi-instrumentalist, captain of banjo, songwriting, and production. These diverse skills are the muscle of the monster, how the creature moves through them, making itself real.

Some music evolved organically from the decades of experience each collaborator brings to the project. Other pieces were written for the show. In deeply vulnerable interplay, every song is woven into a tapestry of danced and drummed story. Commitment to the full performance art form is how Beats Antique fuses musical worlds, pulling on global sounds for experiments on the fringes of cinematic cabaret, informed by electronic mash-ups and inspirations who have joined them on the journey such as Les Claypool, Bassnectar, Alam Khan, The Glitch Mob, and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.

Each album and stage show has built upon the last, with highlights such as: emergence from the bellydance and bass underground in the San Francisco Bay; performing to a massive crowd at Red Rocks Amphitheater; Thievery Corporation and their management discovering Beats Antique one fateful night at Burning Man; artist friends painting set pieces, or donning masks for the finale; performing in Egypt on the day some said the world would end; and playing a hometown show at The Fox on the night Occupy Oakland was evicted and merged with their fans to light bonfires in the street and leap over the flames.

Beats Antique is lifted in each step by loyal fans who are included in their definition of chosen family. Govinda is the alter-ego of Austin-based producer/composer Shane Madden. He began studying violin and composition at the age of eight and went on to study classical violin at the University of Texas, where he fell in love with electronic music production. It was in Madden’s pursuit of his Middle-Eastern and Spanish roots that he opened his ears to music from around the world. From experiences learning violin with mysterious masters on his journeys across the globe and his passion for modern design and technology, the current sound of Govinda was born. Govinda has played with Thievery Corporation, Tipper, Bassnectar, Shpongle, Cheb I Sabbah, STS9 and many more and has been featured on over 25 compilations such as Buddha Bar II, Asian Travels II, and Nirvana Lounge, selling a combined 400,000 copies. Govinda has played at numerous festivals throughout North America including Coachella, Lightning in a Bottle, Sea of Dreams, Shambhala, Sonic Bloom, SXSW and more. Govinda's music has had many synchs on TV and independent films and has over 5 million Spotify plays to date. The Govinda show is truly a multi-sensory experience that immerses the audience with a textured exotic atmosphere which features mesmerizing vocals, visual performance artist Jordan Remar, live projections, live ambient Romani-style and uniquely crafted violin for a truly energetic and magical live presence.

Formed over two decades ago, the funk six-piece The Motet have learned to work as an interlocking unit, with each member bolstering one another towards the best creative output. This symbiosis has led to a unique style and cohesive musical chemistry, as seen in the band's immaculate live performances and seamless blend of funk, soul, jazz, and rock. With a fervent fanbase in tow, The Motet have sold out shows across the nation, performed seven headlining slots at Red Rocks and sets at festivals such as Bonnaroo, Bottlerock, Electric Forest, Bumbershoot, Summer Camp, and High Sierra.

But even after their 20+ years of accolades and recognition, the legendary outfit - composed of Dave Watts (drums), Garrett Sayers (bass), Drew Sayers (keys and saxophone), Ryan Jalbert (guitar), and Sarah Clarke (vocals) - are still exploring new sonic ideas and finding new ways to showcase each other’s skill sets.

The Jauntee is a Boston-based, four-piece ensemble known for electrifying, genre-blending improvisation. Formed in 2010, they fuse jazz, funk, rock, and psychedelic jams into dynamic, boundary-pushing live shows led by Caton Sollenberger, Scott Ferber, Tyler Adams, and John Loland. Renowned for fearless exploration, seamless genre transitions, and soaring solos, they’ve built a devoted national following through high-energy performances and memorable journeys into uncharted musical territory.

It would be difficult to find a band that is more self-aware than longtime touring band Lucero. Since forming in Memphis in the late 90’s, Lucero’s base musical hallmarks have remained similar to the band’s initial sound established with their first record The Attic Tapes. In the history of their expansive discography, Lucero has evolved and embraced everything from southern rock to Stax-inspired Memphis soul, whilst simultaneously maintaining their distinctive sonic foundations. Years later, dedicated fans of the group still flock to hear the band’s punchy driving rhythms, punk-rooted guitar licks, and lyrics that evoke the whiskey drenched sentimentality of Americana singer-songwriters. 

For their twelfth record, Should’ve Learned by Now, Lucero drew on a lot of work from their past. Literally. By adapting songs and guitar parts that had been left over from the group’s previous two albums, Lucero was able to construct one of its most comprehensive works to date. 

“I had a particular sound I was looking for on each record and there was no room for any goofy rock & roll or cute witticisms or even simply upbeat songs.” Said primary lyricist and frontman, Ben Nichols. “But now finally, it was time to revisit all of that stuff and get it out in the world. That’s how we got to the appropriately-for-us-titled album Should’ve Learned by Now. The album is basically about how we know we are fuckups and I guess we are ok with that.”

Produced by Grammy Award-winning engineer, Matt Ross-Spang, the album is a punchy, rock and roll record that utilizes the more mature production stylings the group developed over time, and combines it with the first-person introspectiveness that the band is known and loved for.

From its original Ben Nichols-designed cover art to its credits, the album is a reflection of a band that knows itself. Should’ve Learned by Now bridges the gap musically between “old Lucero” and “new Lucero” in a manner which affixes the band’s position as the perfect intersection of punk initiative with hard-earned artistry. It’s an album that recognizes the past in its sound and content, but leaves the door wide open to the future and for the lessons still in store.

Magic City Hippies have carved out a distinct place in the indie landscape, blending  Miami’s sun-soaked swagger with infectious funk, psych-pop, and danceable grooves.  What began as the Robby Hunter Band evolved in 2015 with the release of Magic City  Hippies, the album that gave the trio its name and solidified a sound both laid-back  and relentlessly kinetic.  

Since then, the band has built a reputation for genre-fluid songwriting and high-energy  performances, earning spots at major festivals including Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits,  and Lollapalooza. Their early Hippie Castle EP (2015) introduced their signature mix of  poolside melodies and weekend-ready rhythms. Modern Animal (2019) expanded that  palette with a deeper, beachside sensibility, while Water Your Garden (2022) served as  a psychedelic post-pandemic celebration of connection and self-expression.  

In 2024, the band returned with a run of stylistically diverse singles, from the disco-funk  of “Givin’ Up On Lovin’” (featuring NoMBe) to the acid-house-tinged psych-pop of “I  Can’t Let You Go”, culminating in Enemies (2025), a groove-centered breakup album  full of emotionally charged, rhythm-driven tracks. Marrying an indie-rock punch with  nostalgic, synth-forward textures, Enemies reflects a group willing to evolve without  losing the essence of their sound.  

Though their recordings have drawn both critical and fan acclaim, Magic City Hippies  are best known for their live shows: sweaty, exuberant, and effortlessly engaging. Their  ability to convert casual listeners into loyal fans is no accident, it’s the result of years of  relentless touring, musical chemistry, and an unapologetic commitment to making 

ANIMA! is an alternative indie electronic duo formed by Bay-born Arielle Vakni and Cape Town–born Vicente Espi. Their enchantingly iconic vocal and unique retro electronic production have quickly made them a standout US indie favorite, alongside inspirations like Sylvan Esso and Little Dragon.

ANIMA! blends retro synths, lush instrumentalism, electronics, and lyrical songwriting with a voice that carries a subtle folk twist. Remaining independent since their self-titled debut in 2015, they have since become the sound for Mercedes-Benz, headlined festivals like Lightning in a Bottle, and toured with Macy Gray. Ten years after their formation, ANIMA! celebrates with a new album, Water, released in September 2025. Dogs In A Pile

Something organic has been blooming from Asbury Park, New Jersey, and is now making its way around the world. Dogs In A Pile, a band of five twenty somethings with old souls and limitless chops, is waking people up to the timeless and ineffable joys of psychedelic-tinged jazz-funk rock n’ roll.

This is one of the busiest touring bands of today, averaging 130 live shows per year since 2022. The road has become their creative engine, generating a rapidly growing catalog of original tunes. Distroid, the band’s newest album, is a 10-song collection featuring long-awaited studio versions of some of the Dogs’ most beloved repertoire.

Dogs In A Pile is guitarist Jimmy Law, guitarist Brian Murray,  keyboardist Jeremy Kaplan, bassist Sam Lucid, and drummer Joe Babick. In addition, the Dogs In A Pile community includes the Dog Pound, the group’s extended family of fans across the country.

Besides being a lyric from the Grateful Dead song, “He’s Gone,” the name “Dogs In A Pile” is an apt description of the five-piece band’s stylistic breadth. The sonic image it conjures is a heap of storyteller Americana, bluegrass, jazz improvisation, eccentric instrumental excursions, pop-rock sophistication, and deep-pocket grooves, ranging from funk to Latin to reggae and beyond.Distroid features material that has already become staples of the band’s live show. These studio renditions have afforded the group a chance to present the compositions just how they envision them. Distroid offers a cross-section of the Dogs In A Pile essence, tight and tuneful four-minute funk and jazz informed psych-rock songs, and then sprawling 15-minute compositions with intricate unison lines, agile genre-jumping, and dazzling improvisation.

Ray Wylie Hubbard is the secret handshake amongst those who know. The Austin Music and Eric Church-inducted Texas Heritage Songwriters Hall of Famer was born in Soper, Oklahoma, went to high school with cosmic cowboy Michael Martin Murphey and spent his summers playing folk music in Red River, New Mexico. It all added to an iconoclastic, hell-bent for truths and textures in writing about the way outlaws live – and added to his outlier bona fides that he made 16 albums without ever signing to a major label.

Whether it’s bluegrass/folk legend Peter Rowan on the tender “Hummingbird,” emerging Nashville renegade Ashley McBryde on the tough girl homage “Outlaw Blood,” SiriusXM femme fatales Paula Nelson and Elizabeth Cook on the randy “Drink ‘Til I See Double” or the trippy rocker Aaron Lee Tasjan on the elegiac “Rock Gods,” Co-Starring is a supple, musky affair.

Eliza Gilkyson is a twice Grammy-nominated (2006/2014) singer-songwriter and activist who is one of the most respected musicians in Folk, Roots and Americana circles. Her songs have been covered by Joan Baez, Bob Geldof, Chris Smither, the world-renowned Conspirare Choir, Tom Rush and Rosanne Cash and have appeared in films, PBS specials and on primetime TV. A member of the Austin Music Hall of Fame, and an inductee into the Austin Songwriter Hall of Fame, she has won countless Folk Alliance and Austin Music awards, including 2014’s Songwriter of the Year and the “Song of the Year” Award at the Folk Alliance International Conference in 2021.

A combination of gravity and grace… Her writing is poetry, something that most songwriters strive for but not so many actually achieve. The strength of her lyrics and music help set the work apart.

Jimmie Dale Gilmore has been writing songs and playing music for more than half a century. Born in Amarillo and raised in Lubbock, Gilmore makes music that springs from West Texas dusty high plains, blending elements of folk, rock, country, blues and bluegrass. His recordings have earned three Grammy nominations in both Contemporary Folk and Traditional Folk and he was named Country Artist of the Year three years running by Rolling Stone Magazine. Along with longtime compadres Joe Ely and Butch Hancock, Gilmore’s legendary band The Flatlanders has been credited as “Fathers of the Alt-Country” movement. Gilmore’s most recent collaborations have been with former Blaster and Grammy winner, Dave Alvin. In 2024, they released their second album, TexiCali, a followup to their debut record Downey to Lubbock.

Formed in the subway systems of Oakland, retro-soul outfit The California Honeydrops are an electrifying group that defy convention at every turn.
