This light and crisp German style ale is made with 2 Row base malt, and wheat malt, fermented with a traditional German Kolsch Ale yeast lending it a white wine like minerality, and hopped with German noble hops, it is a refreshing "light" beer that quenches the pallet. A German style of ale that developed in the Cologne region prior to the discovery of lager yeast. The outcome is a soft, almost biscuit like light beer. NOT a lager!
